The Spanish ninja, Vega, has been confirmed as an inclusion on the roster of Street Fighter V, Capcom announced today. Vega has been a mainstay of the Street Fighter series ever since Street Fighter II, and a fan favorite because of his repertoire of moves, as well as his intriguing backstory.

Vega returns to Street Fighter V with a brand new look and new tricks up his frilly sleeves. Possessing his trademark speed and quickness, Vega now has access to two distinct fighting modes: with claw and without claw, with the latter promising an entirely new form of fighting than what players might be used to.

Street Fighter V launches exclusively on the PlayStation 4 and PC early next year. An online only beta is scheduled for the PS4 soon, after the earlier beta ran into server issues, and was prematurely terminated. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
