Capcom has released a new teaser trailer for the next addition to the Street Fighter 6 roster. The new character, Ed, focuses on a boxing fighting style, and will be available to players that own either the Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Character Pass, the Ultimate Pass, or the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the game. Ed is set for release in February.

As is customary for new characters coming to Street Fighter 6, Capcom will likely release a more in-depth trailer as we get closer to Ed’s release. The next trailer will likely give us a look at the types of combos and mix-ups that Ed can execute. Alongside being released as part of the regular game’s roster, Ed will also be part of Street Fighter 6‘s World Tour mode.

Street Fighter 6 has been incredibly successful for Capcom, with the company having recently revealed that the game has sold over 3 million copies. This milestone has brought the franchise’s lifetime sales to over 52 million copies. The last sales milestone for Street Fighter 6 was back in October, when Capcom reported 2.47 million sales.
