Sucker Punch hiring for action title with multiplayer, possibly inFamous 3

Sucker Punch is hiring people to work on a new “top notch action title” that will also feature multiplayer. Obviously, everyone’s first guess would be inFamous 3.

Sucker Punch is currently looking for a Lead Mission Designer, a Level/Mission Designer and a Senior Game Designer.

The job ad for the Lead Mission Designer and Level/Mission Designer, over at Sucker Punch’s site, are looking for people with “3-6 years as a mission designer on top-notch action titles”, “the ability to design, script and balance high-quality missions,” and more. Sucker Punch says they don’t just want people who can create good missions, but people who can also ” thread a series of missions together into an engaging tale.”

The job ad for Senior Game Designer shows some other requiremenets- the person applying for this job needs to have “2-5 years as a designer on released AAA games”, “The ability to design, implement and tune ground-breaking gameplay systems” and more. However, most the most notable job requirement has to be the following-

“A range of design experience — mission scripting, combat mechanics, investment systems, multiplayer tuning, enemy design, etc.” Sucker Punch has never made a game with a full fledged multiplayer mode before, so it’d certainly be interesting to see what they do here, especially if it’s inFamous 3. inFamous 2 did have a level designer, but having competitive multiplayer in inFamous 3 would certainly spice things up a lot.

Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.
