Sucker Punch’s New PS4 Game Is A New IP

Sucker Punch have been awfully silent of late- they launched inFamous: Second Son for the PS4 three years ago, and since then, they’ve been very silent. They did launch First Light, a standalone expansion, a few years later, but that’s the only peep we’ve had from them.

Until last year’s announcement at E3, we thought that the PS4 exclusive Spider-Man game would be developed by them- after all, it fit them, given that they had developed inFamous, which was also a series of open world superhero games. However, that turned out to be an Insomniac project- so what is Sucker Punch working on?

Apparently, a brand new IP. Speaking in a NeoGAF thread, well known industry insider shinobi shared that Sucker Punch’s new game is a new IP- but that was the only information that he had to share. I do hope it is true, however- Sucker Punch are too talented to be stuck making inFamous games forever.
