Suicide Squad - Kill the Justice League

Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League received new hands-on impressions and previews, several mixed on its approach. There’s also new gameplay, providing an extensive look at Deadshot and Harley Quinn, two of the four playable characters. Check them out below courtesy of VGC.

Along with showcasing each squad member’s unique movement and abilities, we can see the types of missions available. They’re pretty rot, from Affliction Training to tracking Lex Luthor. There’s a boss fight which boils down to collecting Terminaut Bits from slain enemies, depositing them and shooting the exposed weak points.

One mission involves killing Brainiac’s troopers and saving Poison Ivy’s plants, which amounts to zipping from one point to another, wiping out enemies, rinse and repeat. Another is about rescuing civilians and transporting them to a bus for safety, though again, it’s all about picking each one up and depositing them. At least there’s a traversal challenge that involves maneuvering through Riddler rings.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches on February 2nd for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
