Rocksteady Studios has detailed the first episode of Season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, launching on March 28th, in a new blog post. There’s also a new gameplay trailer available. Check it out below.

The Joker is an Elseworlds version of the character and not the same as the Arkham-verse. His explosive umbrella is a new traversal kit, which can rain down explosives in mid-air or glide at incredible speeds. His Talent Trees are Jester, Ringmaster and Firestarter. The first is effective against multiple enemies and specializes in melee damage. The second is all about the Fire Affliction, while the third is traversal-focused-increasing the time spent in-air and damage dealt.

Season 1 also introduces a new Metropolis Elseworld, twisted by The Joker, and new weapons and gear. New Mayhem and Assault missions are coming while a new Incursion mission type, Combat Incursions, is being added. There will also be new Mutators, including enemies resurrecting and gaining Green Lantern shields.

In the first episode, players can obtain a new Scarecrow Gear Set with three Tiers focused on inflicting Fear and Horror on enemies. New Notorious items based on Polka-Dot Man, Reverse Flash and Mad Hatter are also inbound. Intergang is also being introduced as a new weapon manufacturer, focusing on close-range damage, with each shot dishing out multiple projectiles. Alongside different rarities of weapons, some existing Legendaries will also get the Intergang treatment.

There will also be new outfits, win poses and banners, with the Premium Battle Pass containing Waynetech suits for the Squad. The free track features Deadshot’s version of the outfit with various Swatches to equip. Stay tuned for more details on Season 1 Episode 1 in the coming weeks.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review and the post-launch roadmap here.
