Insomniac Games’ Xbox One exclusive platforming shooter, Sunset Overdrive, may not get get any further expansions. The game launched last year, and has since been supported by Insomniac by a variety of post launch content and DLC; a full year of post launch support is probably enough in Insomniac’s reckoning to want to move on.

“We have no plans for any more story DLC,” Insomniac noted on Twitter. “No plans for for a third game add-on,” they said, before explicitly stating, “We have no further DLC planned beyond what is already out there.”

On the whole, I don’t think fans are going to be disappointed- Sunset Overdrive was already an excellent game, and it got loads of equally excellent post launch DLC as well. There is already a whole lot of Sunset Overdrive out there for fans to enjoy- if you have not yet already jumped on the Xbox One exclusive, now would be the time to do so.
