Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

Super Mario 3D All-Stars will provide some 3D platforming goodness for Switch fans when it releases later this month. But next year, there’s even more Mario coming. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury was announced during the recent Direct and will arrive for Switch on February 12th 2021.

As a port of the Wii U classic, Super Mario 3D World can be played solo or with up to three other players in co-op. Both local and online multiplayer are supported, though the latter requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership. All of the levels, power-ups, and gameplay of the original has been brought over.

Of course, some additional content was teased near the end of the trailer which Nintendo will provide more details on “soon.” The “Bowser’s Fury” part seems to indicate an expansion of sorts but we’ll have to wait for more details. A whole bunch of Mario news was announced today to celebrate the plumber’s 35th anniversary so stay tuned for more details.
