Before Nintendo hit the big time with the Switch, there was the Wii U. The console, despite being a successor to one of the biggest home consoles ever, ended up being one of Nintendo’s most high-profile flops. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately for some Wii U owners, I suppose), Nintendo has worked to make sure the titles that ended up on the failed system have made the jump to the Switch. One of those is Super Mario 3D World, which comes out next month, alongside some new content that we know nothing, about called Bowser’s Fury. However, we may know something more about it very soon.
Nintendo has confirmed that a new trailer for the title will be coming tomorrow. It’s not long, only clocking in at 2 minutes, and will go live at 6 am PT.
As it stands, the big mystery surrounding the game is what Bowser’s Fury actually is. Could it be a full-on expansion? Could it even be standalone for those who owned 3D World on Wii U? Hopefully, come tomorrow, we will know. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury is set to release February 12th on Nintendo Switch.
