Super Mario Odyssey Gets Two Brand New Trailers Showcasing Platforming, Cappy’s Powers, and More

Here we go, off the rails.

The biggest and most prominent release for the rest of this year is probably going to be Super Mario Odyssey, the next major outing of Nintendo’s moustachioed plumber, which is due to hit the Nintendo Switch exclusively later this month. The game being Mario, it is all but guaranteed to do well at the market (especially given the insane momentum the Switch already enjoys).

However, if you needed a little convincing that Mario’s newest adventure will be something for you- or if you wanted to see more of it in action- Nintendo has released not one, but two brand new trailers for the game, both of which you can see for yourself below.

The two trailers show off the kind of platforming that you will be faced with in the game; simultaneously, they also show off Cappy’s powers, which include creating makeshift platforms for Mario to reach new places, as well as letting Mario possess things.

The game looks utterly fantastic- this new bunch of videos serves to only reinforce that. Check them out for yourself below. Super Mario Odyssey launches on the Nintendo Switch on October 27.
