Nintendo’s Super SMash Bros. has been a popular inclusion at CEO annually, so fans were a bit disappointed and concerned when the trailer for this year’s meet up did not include Smash. However, CEO has assured fans that there is nothing to worry about, that Smash has ‘something big’ coming to CEO.

“I just watched the trailer and I didn’t see smash did something happen that it got dropped?” one fan asked CEO on Twitter. The CEO Twitter account responded with, “to be continued… As the trailer says. Smash has something big coming to #CEO2015. Next Trailer.”

What could this ‘something big’ be? The obvious answer is the announcement of more new characters coming to Smash. Nintendo has already made it clear that it plans on releasing more DLC for the game, and sound files for Street Fighter’s Ryu and Roy from Fire Emblem have already been unearthed in the game’s codebase. Could CEO be where the announcement of those two characters is made?
