Team Sora’s upcoming Super Smash Bros. is now one character stronger, as a new image released today has showcased Fire Emblem’s Marth in the game. Part of the series since the beginning, Marth is perhaps the most iconic character in the Fire Emblem series and even made his return in Fire Emblem: Awakening on the Nintendo 3DS, which released earlier this year.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that Marth is technically a playable character. Nintendo has teased Pokemon X & Y legendary Xerneas as being part of the game but with no confirmation on whether you’d be able to play as it. Hopefully, this isn’t the case with Marth who has been a playable character in previous games.

Super Smash Bros. releases in 2014 for the 3DS and Wii U. Other new characters this time around include Mega Man, the Wii Fit Trainer (both female and male) and Animal Crossing’s protagonist. Stay tuned for more in the coming months.
