Haemimont Games’ Surviving Mars, a city-building title that mixes resource management with survival, is now available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Check out the launch trailer for the game below.
Though the studio is better known for Tropico, Surviving Mars is more about colonizing a barren planet and making it your own. Players will choose an agency, different resources, a landing spot and proceed to hunt for the means to survive. Once you properly construct a dome city, colonists can be summoned from Earth, each with their own unique traits. From there, you can encounter different Mysteries that present unique story scenarios.
Surviving Mars has received some fairly decent reviews from critics – it maintains a 79 Metascore on PC from 17 outlets. You can check out our official review here for more information. Haemimont won’t be slowing down anytime soon – it has Tropico 6 in the pipeline for imminent release as well.
