The latest update addresses some minor issues.
The Switch is still very much on fire for Nintendo as it speeds to its third year. The system got an even bigger boost in the area with the release of the Switch Lite revision, a rework of the system that’s more portable focused (though it isn’t without problems from the original release, it seems). A new update is live now and addresses some nagging issues.
While the 9.0.1 update is mostly about stability issues, it does address two other minor things. One is taking care of an issue where many were getting random errors during gameplay. The other is a somewhat humorous one where the Switch Lite would display instructions to remove the Joycons during the initial setup despite the system not having Joycons.
While it doesn’t do anything major, you always need these minor updates to iron out things to make everything just that much smoother. Update 9.0.1 is live now across all Switch devices.
