Take Two Interactive Files New Trademark: ‘Campfire Entertainment’

No official comments as yet, give it time

Take Two Interactive

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc, the parent company of Rockstar Games the developers of legendary game series Grand Theft Auto, has filed a pair of applications for trademarks concerning “Campfire Entertainment”. Filed by way of the USPTO (the United States Paten & Trademark Office) in November of this year the applications are taking broad strokes and covers multiple fields of media ranging from video games and music to magazines and clothing.

While Take-Two Interactive Software Inc are yet to comment on the filings and whether or not this is a new video game development studio, the filing is similar to the Rockstar North trademark. That would at least suggest the Campfire Entertainment is a new Studio under Take Two.

With The Video Game Awards coming up, we may well see some kind of reveal related to this new maybe-studio. But at this point, only time will tell.
