At the Microsoft E3 2019 press event, Bandai Namco unveiled Tales of Arisethe next instalment in their popular JRPG franchise. And though the surprise of the announcement may have been ruined by a premature leak, nothing could take away from the fact that the game looked extremely impressive.

The most impressive aspect of the game was just how good it looked visually, from both, an artistic and a technical standpoint. For the first time in many years, it looks like Bandai Namco are about to release a new Tales title that won’t look like it’s lagging behind by at least a handful of years in the technical department.

They’ve now released a new trailer for the game, and it’s continuing to look just as impressive. The trailer uses a lot of shots from the E3 2019 one, but there’s some new shots in there as well, the most notable ones of which show beautiful new locations in the game’s world.

Meanwhile, new information has also been revealed for the game’s dual main protagonists, both of whom are seen in the trailer. The male protagonist is called Alphen, and the female protagonist is called Shionne. Their Japanese voices are provided by Takuya Sato and Shino Shimoji respectively.

Tales of Arise is due out some time in 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but an exact release date hasn’t yet been announced. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
