Bandai Namco’s Tales of Arise has passed 1.5 million units sold after launching on September 10th. It crossed one million digital sales and shipments in less than a week after its release. To celebrate the new milestone, an illustration with Rinwell, Law and Hootle by art director Minoru Iwamoto has been tweeted.

The latest in Bandai Namco’s long-running action RPG franchise, Tales of Arise marks a fairly big shift in terms of scale and production values. It’s about Alphen and Shionne who traverse the land of Dahna to take out the five Renan Lords, despite their respective differences. Along the way, they encounter various allies with Dohalim il Qaras and Kisara also joining alongside Rinwell and Law.

Tales of Arise is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC – check out our review of the base game here. It recently received a paid collaboration DLC with Sword Art Online that adds a boss fight with Kirito and Asuna along with their outfits and a special Mystic Arte for Alphen.
