Tales of Arise

The lineup of games being added to Game Pass’ library over the course of February was revealed earlier in the month, and though it was already looking quite strong with the likes of Resident Evil 3, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and more, another major title has now been confirmed to be joining the service’s ranks.

Bandai Namco has confirmed via the Tales series’ official Twitter page that Tales of Arise will be coming to Game Pass next week, on February 20. Interestingly, on the same day, on the other side of the console fence, the acclaimed action RPG is also set to become available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members via the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.

Tales of Arise launched for PC and consoles in 2021, and was received with critical acclaim. In our own review, we awarded it a score of 8/10, saying, “Tales of Arise is a well-made, consistently enjoyable JRPG, and though its storytelling tends to be sloppy, its gorgeous world and excellent combat are more than enough to keep you hooked until the end.” Read the full review through here.

Tales of Arise is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. it has sold 2.7 million units worldwide. An expansion, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn, launched last November.
