Tales of Arise Rated in Australia

A new release date could be announced for the action RPG in the coming months.

Tales of Arise

Bandai Namco’s Tales of Arise is one of many games that were supposed to launch this year. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed with no future launch window provided. This isn’t to say that things aren’t happening – the action RPG was recently rated on the Australian Classification Board.

The last time a rating popped up was via the Korean Ratings Board in January. While this doesn’t indicate an impending release, judging by the pattern of other games, it’s possible that Tales of Arise could arrive in the next few months. Early 2021 is also looking like a possibility.

We’ll have to wait for more details to be sure (maybe even an update at Gamescom or Tokyo Games Show). Tales of Arise is in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC using Unreal Engine 4 and will have a darker direction compared to previous games. While the gameplay has seen some changes, the Linear Motion Battle System will be making a return.
