Target Tweet Suggests Spyro: Treasure Trilogy is Real and Incoming

So much smoke, there has to be a fire.

Spyro The Dragon

Rumours that a Spyro trilogy remaster, much in the vein of last year’s Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, is coming this year have been coming in thick over the last few weeks. The name “Treasure Trilogy” for this collection, which will cover the PlayStation era games, has been floating around as well.

Now, it seems as though US retailer Target has added more fuel to the fire. Responding to a fan’s question about Spyro, they let slip Spyro: Treasure Trilogy in their answer- which, as a retailer, is a name they would be privy to. Does this mean that when this trilogy does come out, it will be called that?

For now, we are still waiting for an official confirmation from Activision; so far, all they have said is that they will release a remaster this year, without any further details. Until Spyro is announced, you can still get your hands on Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, which is out now on PS4, and will be available on Switch, PC, and Xbox One this July.
