Team Ninja May Be Teasing Dead Or Alive 6

Is it finally time?

Team Ninja may be preparing to announce a brand new game in their Dead or Alive 3D fighting game series. Dead or Alive 5 came out quite a while ago, and post-launch support for the game ended fairly recently- it sounds like there is a new game in the wings, that’s why.

Posting on its Twitter account, Team Ninja noted that Dead or Alive 5 will be at the Battle Royale 2017 Grand Finals, and that fans may want to stick around until after the event is concluded, because “an announcement” will be made. What the announcement is wasn’t clear, but it should be pretty obvious at this point that it will probably be the sixth game in the series.

Team Ninja is galvanized thanks to the success of Nioh earlier this year- so I personally can’t wait to see what they do with a new Dead or Alive game, too. We’ll find out soon enough- so stay tuned.
