Earlier today on the PlayStation Blog, interested gamers were given some details about the upcoming PS Vita exclusive, Tearaway. Tearaway is an adventure game inspired by paper craft, in which the player takes on the role of a paper craft figure, who is on a mission to deliver a message to the player.
This most recent Tearaway-related blog post gives us some insight into the potential for customization within the Tearaway universe. Throughout the game there well be plenty of opportunities to customize both your player, by adding fun accessories to his model, and to customize the environment through which you journey.
Using the tools available to you in game, such as the pencil tool, you can trace shapes that you want to cut out of the environment, or you can erase your lines and cuts by using the eraser tool. You can layer sheets, just like with actual papercraft, and cut interesting and unique patterns out of them. And best of all, these tools can be utilized on your character, which is fully customizable. Remove and re-choose his clothing, features, and appearance to your hearts content.
Tearaway releases for PS Vita on November 22nd.
