Teaser for Amazing Spider-Man 2 Teases Disaster in New York

Because it can't be Spider-Man if New York ain't in trouble.

Next year, Sony and Columbia will release the sequel to their Spider-Man reboot movie from last year, The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Mostly everything about the movie has been kept shrouded in a heavy veil of secrecy, but today we got our first look at the game that will tie into it.

In true movie tie in tradition, it doesn’t look anything special at all- admittedly, we only saw a forty minute teaser that showed us nothing, but the graphics looked seriously dated, even by this generation’s standards. The developers still have the better part of the year to get on that and fix it, should they choose to, though.

This teaser would probably be more interesting on the grounds that it teases a bit of the the plotline from the movie, but… nope, no matter how many times you watch it, you’re not gonna get anything about the movie at all.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 releases Spring 2014. We don’t know what systems it will release on yet, but judging by the fact that this is an Activision published movie tie in, expect it on every single platform, including, yes, the Wii, DS, and PSP.
