Teaser Released For Really Weird Indy Title Epic Loon

Please be kind, rewind...

Video games, right? What other medium has you play as a team of four tiny alien parasites that infest the VHS collection of a lonely cinephile who lives in his mother’s basement? Epic Loon is an upcoming physics platformer from Ukuza, Macrales Studio, and Shibuya Productions, and it looks just as crazy as its premise.

The gameplay teaser, which you can watch below, shows some of the physics based gameplay with aliens flinging themselves around environments spoofed from classic films. The game is intended to be multiplayer and includes a battle mode, as well as an irreverent sense of humour and a style that invokes games that destroy the fourth wall like Pony Island.

This is the first game out of Indy developers, Macrales Studio, and it’s weird enough to have my full attention already. The quest to destroy Joe’s prized movie collection begins PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in early 2018.
