Tekken 7: Gigas Officially Revealed

New character confirmed for the upcoming fighter.

Although people had managed to unearth the existence of multiple new and hidden characters in the upcoming Tekken 7, including this one, Bandai Namco have now come out and officially announced Gigas, who will be the newest addition to the lineup of the 3D fighting game.

Visually reminiscent of a bounty hunter from Metroid Prime Hunters, or Big Daddy from Bioshock, Gigas’ fighting style seems to emphasize his superior strength over anything else. His character introduction video runs us through the gamut of moves, counters, and specials that he has. All in all, he seems to be an intriguing and compelling addition to the game’s roster.

Tekken 7 is due out some time later this year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and, in a first for the series, PC. It will first hit arcades in Japan, followed by releases on the other platforms, in Japan and in the rest of the world. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
