Tekken 7 released in 2017 (for consoles, anyway, the original arcade version was released in 2015), and has seen been an ongoing project for Bandai Namco. It’s had constant updates to its roster, including some wild and unexpected guest stars. It’s become something special for the long running fighting series and now we know it has passed a new milestone alongside its latest addition to the ever growing roster.

We found out that the game had passed 5 million units as of December 2019. But at this year’s TGS 2020, the publisher revealed that in less than a year the game has shipped 1 million more copies, putting it at over 6 million shipped units, which in turn put the series as a whole at 50 million shipped units. They revealed this alongside the latest DLC character, the first of the upcoming season, Kunimitsu. This is a returning character from Tekken 2 with something of a twist as it’s the daughter of that character. You can see her reveal below.

Tekken 7 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
