Tekken 7 New Patch Improves Online Functionality

Tekken 7 has received a new patch, which addresses the online match making, while also adding some more features for online play. The update also removes some information that was displayed about the other player before a match, sadly enough.

That apart, some character’s moves ‘properties’ were fixed by this update. Update 1.02 is currently available to download on PS4, and is due out for the Xbox One and PC versions of the game soon, too. You can check out the full list of changes in this update for yourself below.

Tekken 7 is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Improved online matching functionality
The following player information will no longer be displayed before a match: character selected, wins, rank, title
Connection with other players can be established more frequently
Improved stability: Matchlist is tentatively removed to improve online matching functionality

Addition of ON/OFF feature for voice chat
ON/OFF for voice chat added to OPTION menu.
Set to OFF as default setting.

Some characters’ move properties were corrected
Nina’s Ivory Cutter attack properties.
