After teasing her arrival in Season 2 of Tekken 8, Bandai Namco has confirmed that Anna Williams will join the roster. She’s available on March 31st for Season 2 Character Pass holders and April 3rd for everyone else. Check out her first trailer below.
As Nina’s twin sister, Anna also boasts a precise fighting style with devastating kicks, strikes, and feints. Perhaps the most notable change from previous titles is her bazooka. It can bash opponents and fire shots at medium range that can weave into combos. Her Rage Art also utilizes it after pelting an opponent with rockets from an overhead chopper.
Alongside Anna’s release, Bandai Namco provided a roadmap for upcoming stages and characters. The next fighter and stage debuts this Summer, followed by the third DLC character in Autumn. The four debuts in Winter alongside another new stage. There will likely be other updates with new features and balance adjustments, so stay tuned for more details.
Tekken 8 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s sold over three million units to date.
