Tekken 8 - Reina

The hype train for Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8 continues to roll on. After the opening movie and live-action trailer, the launch trailer is finally here. It sees Kazuya Mishima announcing the newest King of the Iron Fist Tournament and laying down the gauntlet for any who may participate. Check it out below.

The trailer features various fighters, from Jin Kazama and Hwoarang to Paul Phoenix and Lili, coming together to participate. Of course, there’s also a massive battle scene where the good guys tussle against an army of Jack-8 robots. Meanwhile, Reina moves towards an energy blast with arms wide open. What could her motivations be? We’ll hopefully find out at the game’s launch.

Tekken 8 is available on January 26th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, with 32 playable characters. Along with Story Mode, there’s the new Arcade Quest, the Battle Lounge for online lobbies, the return of Tekken Ball and a revamped My Replay and Tips.
