Bandai Namco has revealed the PC requirements for Tekken 8 on the game’s Steam page, and they’re slightly higher than the closed network test. Along with requiring Windows 10 64-bit and DirectX 12, players will need a whopping 100 GB of available space. A solid-state drive isn’t required, but that could change.
The minimum requirements include an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 8 GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti or AMD Radeon R9 380X. Recommended requirements include a Core i7-7700K or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 16 GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT.
“FPS: Stable Over 60” is enabled by default in the settings when launching for the first time. Other applications in the background could affect performance, but it’s unknown what the ideal graphics settings for each configuration are. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
Tekken 8 is launching on January 26th, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our impressions from the recent closed beta, and the latest revealed character, Leo, here.
