Bandai Namco’s flagship fighter, Tekken 8, will receive some much-demanded features in its next update, but Spring 2025 promises even more. It’s when Season 2 kicks off and adds new DLC fighters to the game. Though the developer didn’t hint at how many, a new trailer featured a red helicopter with familiar lipstick on a missile that chases Nina Williams.
This is likely her sister, Anna, and it should be interesting to see where she’s been all this time. This Spring also includes a significant system and balance update, adding new moves for all the characters. Bandai Namco also confirmed the start of the next Tekken World Tour for the period, though specific dates are yet to be revealed.
Stay tuned for more details. Playable on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, Tekken 8 is a direct follow-up to Tekken 7, focusing on Jin Kazama and his quest to stop Kazuya Mishima from world domination. You can read our review here, where we gave it a nine out of 10, praising the new Heat system and roster additions.
