Bandai Namco promised a character reveal for Tekken 8 on November 2nd, and it delivered by introducing a new fighter: Victor Chevalier. Hailing from France and voiced by Vincent Cassel of Ocean’s Twelve/Thirteen and Westworld fame, he embodies “refined violence.” Check out the trailer below.
Victor utilizes a variety of weapons, from a handgun and knives to a futuristic saber. He can also teleport, which means sudden attacks from above and rushing through enemies during combos. Interestingly, Victor seems to have a connection to Raven and is more than capable of matching him in speed. It’s also worth noting the gorgeous new stage with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Tekken 8 launches on January 24th, 2024 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. The developer recently confirmed that Zafina, Lee Chaolan, Devil Jin, and Alisa would be playable at launch while also hyping a character reveal for November 12th.
