With the closed network test for Tekken 8 starting on July 21st for PS5, Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a trailer for Claudio Serafino. As an exorcist for the Archers of Sirius, he’s one of 16 playable characters and is a master of mid-range combat. Check out his moves below.
While good at approaching opponents and punishing whiffed attacks, Claudio’s core mechanic is Starburst. Successfully landing some attacks activates it and grants some new techniques, though once Starburst depletes, you need to earn it again. With an array of counters and means to assail enemies, there’s a lot in his kit to latch onto, especially given the new Heat Burst and Heat Engager mechanics.
Tekken 8 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC with rollback netcode and cross-platform play. It doesn’t have a release date, but Bandai Namco wants to launch it before April 2024. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
