Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Gives us WTF for Free at Launch

And by that, we meant World Tekken Federation. Naturally.

The premium online social community Namco Bandai built for the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the World Tekken Federation will be available for free when the game launches.

The WTF gives players the ability to track personal stats, create and manage teams, hiring the best fighters and competing in online events. Of course there will be plenty of opportunity to discuss strategies as well in the forums.

Vice president of marketing for Namco Bandai Carlson Choi stated, “With Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the team is committed to providing an unparalleled fighting game experience and are proving our dedication to this effort by offering World Tekken Federation free of charge to everyone who buys a copy of the game.

“Bringing together Tekken fans from around the globe in such a robust online community is a first for the fighting game genre and will give veterans and beginners a chance to develop their fighting skills in an exciting new way.”

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and the World Tekken Federation will be launched for PS3 and XBox 360 on September 14th in Europe.
