It’s taken us forever since its announcement at VGX last year; in the meanwhile, all we have really had has been a drip feed of information, but the wait is finally over. Telltale Games has announced that the first episode of its six episode Season One for Game of Thrones will be releasing in December.

The full season can be paid for upfront for $30; conversely, you could always choose to buy episodes individually if you would rather do that.

The exact release date is as yet unknown (the source for this information is the game’s Steam page, which didn’t specify a date beyond just December), but we do now know the requirements needed for your PC or Mac to run this game:

Windows:

  • OS: Windows XP Service Pack 3
  • Processor: Core 2 Duo 2GHz or equivalent
  • Memory: 3 GB RAM
  • Graphics: ATI or NVIDIA card w/512 MB RAM
  • DirectX: Version 9.0
  • Hard Drive: 3 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Direct X 9.0c sound device
