Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite Marvel movie, and one that I think would lend itself to a video game uniquely well- so I am very happy now that the rumors have been confirmed and Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy has been officially announced.

That’s what happened at The Game Awards earlier tonight. The trailer was more of a teaser, with literally no footage to it (just a vague classic song, and the logo for the game, with a promise that the game would come to ‘PC, mobile, and consoles’, leaving the question of its exact release date and platforms vague). I imagine we will see more of the game in the coming months- I just hope Telltale have fixed their engine by the time it finally does come out.

You can check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
