6. Metal Gear Stoned

Short and sweet are the orders of the day with Harry Partridge’s Metal Gear Stoned. Partridge has graced youtube with a variety of pop culture parodies, but Metal Gear Stoned is the first time he has turned his attention to the realm of gaming. It’s a short thirty second punch line, but it was one that needed to be delivered by someone. All credit for the video goes to HarryPartridge.

5. Any Nintendo franchise on the Philips CDI

Okay so it’s not intentionally a parody but, regardless, the Nintendo franchises that were forced onto Philips appalling CDI hardware need to be seen to be believed. The Zelda games are of particular notoriety for their disturbing animations, crusty dialogue and shameful characterisation. If you are easily offended and don’t want your image of Link ruined, you might want to avoid watching this one. Thanks to MasterAI for the video.

4. Mega 64: Assassin’s Creed

Mega 64 have made countless realistic interpretations of popular game franchises, but the Assassin’s Creed video was the one that really stood out for me. Though the sketch runs a little old after the first minute or so, there is no denying that the very idea of publicly humiliating yourself like this is amusing enough, even without the video’s amusing execution.
