Metal Gear Solid is a very prestigious series, and fans had long been awaiting MGS4 before its release. When the game did get released, it awed and shocked us all- it had seemed almost impossible that a game could have such incredible production values and such an engrossing storyline. But MGS4 had those things, and it had so much more. And while the cutscenes in the game could stretch on for as long as 90 minutes, they were always a wonder to behold. Beautifully crafted, ingeniously thought out and wonderfully long-lasting, Metal Gear Solid 4 proved to be the biggest and the best game we could have wanted on the PlayStation 3.
