RESISTANCE: FALL OF MAN
The PS3 could not have hoped for a better launch title than Resistance: Fall of Man. It was an awesome game, with the tried and true FPS gameplay implemented perfectly. It had a decent story, a likeable character and had one of the best single player campaigns ever in a First Person Shooter. The difficulty was insanely tough, appealing to the hardcore shooter crowd. The game was very atmospheric, driving its post apocalyptic depressing setting perfectly home. And while FoM did have a lot of its own mistakes, there can be no doubts that, several years down the line, it will be remembered as one of the PS3's best games.
