Developer Rain Games and publisher Modus Games have announced the sequel to side-scrolling game Teslagrad. Appropriately titled Teslagrad 2, the sequel got an announcement trailer. Check it out below.

Teslagrad 2 revolves around a new protagonist—Lumina—who has crash-landed into an uncharted region where she discovers an ancient tower briing with technology.

The gameplay will revolve around using electromagnetic abilities to solve physics-based puzzles, exploration, platforming, and outwitting enemies.

Teslagrad 2 features hand-drawn art with muted pastel tones for its art style, featuring untamed nature as well as industrial caves. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian culture and folklore, the game also features Old Europe through the lens of steampunk.

The original Teslagrad was released quite some time ago, and will have been released almost an entire decade ago by the time Teslagrad 2 will have come out.

Teslagrad 2 is set to come out on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023.
