That Rainbow Six Siege Debut Footage? It Was Running on a PC

Though what the specs of that PC were, we won't be told just yet.

Rainbow Six: Siege

Rainbow Six: Siege was one one of the big surprises of Ubisoft’s E3 press conference- unveiled right at the very end of the showing in a manner similar to Watch Dogs and The Division the last two years, the game looked absolutely stunning- in fact, we thought that it looked like the most next gen shooter yet, with some gorgeous graphics, dynamic real time tactics, and some incredible destruction.

Apparently, that extremely next gen looking game was running not on an Xbox One or even a PlayStation 4, but on a PC. A PC the specs of which we are not yet being told. This was of course immediately apparent as all the on screen prompts and UI on screen indicated PC controls.

Ubisoft has not yet told us what kind of PC this was running on (and whether those are the kinds of specs thatt hey are targeting for the final release). Nevertheless, one might perhaps safely assume that this game too will be pitched as a tentpole graphical release for PC, just as Watch Dogs was.
