DEADLY PREMONITION 2

The original Deadly Premonition is a classic example of a game that’s so bad, it’s good. Deadly Premonition 2 tried to do that exact same thing- but lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice. Instead, it ended up being a game that was just… bad? Well, not entirely bad. It still has some stuff going for it, and that trademark unhinged Swery touch is still in there for those who’re fans of his work, but there’s just so much that bogs down Deadly Premonition 2 (most of all a laundry list of technical issues that can make the game unplayable at times). If we do ever get a third Deadly Premonition game (which seems unlikely at this point), hopefully it’ll try to replicate the understated success of the first game by aping its strengths, not its weaknesses.
