The Callisto Protocol isn’t a long game, taking about 10 hours or so to finish, with only 43 different collectibles throughout its eight chapters. There are two types of collectibles – Implant Bio Harvests and Data-Bios Audio Logs.
While you’re not required to collect these, they are essential for full Trophy/Achievement completion. However, there are several challenges, starting with no Chapter Select. If you miss any collectibles, you must reload a checkpoint and get them. New Game Plus isn’t available, so you can’t start a new playthrough with existing collectible progress.
Even worse is how checkpoints work. If you die, all progress is reset to the last checkpoint, and any collectibles must be found again. Here are all the collectibles available in each chapter:
- Chapter 1: Cargo – One Data-Bios Audio Log
- Chapter 2: Outbreak – Three Data-Bios Audio Logs
- Chapter 3: Aftermath – Two Data-Bios Audio Logs and six Implant Bio Harvests
- Chapter 4: Habitat – Four Data-Bios Audio Logs and three Implant Bio Harvests
- Chapter 5: Lost – Four Data-Bios Audio Logs and four Implant Bio Harvests
- Chapter 6: Below – Three Data-Bios Audio Logs and two Implant Bio Harvests
- Chapter 7: Colony – Two Data-Bios Audio Logs and five Implant Bio Harvests
- Chapter 8: Tower – Four Data-Bios Audio Logs

How to Get All Skins
In addition to the Prisoner outfit, which Jacob starts with, and the power suit obtained later, there are different skins to equip. These are all cosmetic and don’t have any impact on the gameplay. Here’s how to earn them all:
- Retro Prisoner Skin – Unlocked by pre-ordering the Day One Edition. You can also get it by purchasing the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
- Snake Skin – Unlocked in the Founder’s Pack, and requires linking your Krafton ID to your platform.
- Gore Skin – Unlocked by watching 30 minutes of the game on Twitch streams.
- Biophage Skin – Obtained by pre-ordering the Day One Edition from select retailers like Best Buy and Amazon UK.
There are also skins which aren’t in the game just yet, but will be added with the Season Pass. They include:
- Outer Way Skin – It’s available with the Outer Way Skin Collection, and goes live on February 7th, 2023.
- Watchtower Skin – It’s available in the Contagion Bundle, and goes live in March 2023.
- Engineer Skin – Available in Riot Bundle and goes live in Spring 2023.
