Ubisoft have announced that their open world arcade racer The Crew 2 is going to be free to play this weekend. From today up until December 16th, you can download and play the entirety of The Crew 2 for the low, low price of free. All events, vehicles, and the entire map of the game will be accessible during the weekend to all players.

Depending on what system you play it on, you’ll also receive one of three free vehicles in The Crew 2 on December 17th. PS4 owners will get a Maserati Gran Turismo S 2009 – Touring Car Edition, PC players will get a Ford GT 2005 – Touring Car Edition, while Xbox One players will get a BMW Z4 GT3 2011. This giveaway will apply to you even if you purchase the full game past December 17.

Of course, if you do purchase the full game, all your progress from the free weekend will be carried over, which should be even more incentive to do so. Considering that it’s free, it might be a good idea to give the game a whirl if you haven’t done so till now- read our review to determine whether it’s a game that interests you.
