The Crew 2 Will Release on June 29

Need for speed overground.

Ubisoft has confirmed that The Crew 2, the follow up to its always online racing MMO which originally launched back in 2014 (before getting a substantive overhaul in the form of an expansion the following year), will be launching on June 29 this year.

The title was originally scheduled for a release earlier this year, but ended up getting delayed- thankfully, it doesn’t look like the delay was too severe. Positioned right after E3, The Crew 2 should end up whetting some appetites for major new releases in the Summer.

The original game, while receiving middling reviews at launch, ended up fostering a community of players over time, thanks to some good post launch support- but if you are wary of what this new game might be like, you can sign up for a beta, and hopefully get the chance to go hands on with the game for yourself ahead of its launch.

The Crew 2 launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
