Ivory Tower’s The Crew was announced to be running at 30 FPS on the PS4 and Xbox One. However, much like The Evil Within, you’ll have some officially sanctioned options to unlock the frame rate.

Lead designer Serkan Hassan revealed the same to Tech Radar, stating that, “Ultimately the performance and the frame rate will be down to the players hardware. A few people in the closed beta found ways of unlocking the frame rate.

“My understanding at this moment is that we’ll be allowing players to do that come the full version as well, unless some other issue comes to light which would block that in any way.”

The Crew will be releasing on December 2nd worldwide for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PC. It is yet another Ubisoft title that will run at 30 FPS, joining the likes of Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. What are your thoughts on unlocking options for PC players?
