Reaching a Gear Score of 500 in The Division 2 is a relatively easy task provided you have the money and are aware of what exactly needs to be done. The key to a higher gear score is to buy high level gear from specific vendors. We recommend visiting the clan vendor and Cassie Mendoza. Cassie is a secret vendor and requires some specific steps before you can find her. We have a video guide below that shows you what needs to be done so that you can find the location of this hidden vendor.

Before you buy stuff from these vendors, ensure that you are already in World Tier 5. If this is the case, then Cassie will sell you items with Gear Scores ranging from high 470s up to 490s. This will noticeably increase increase your Gear Score. Now go to the Clan Vendor in the Base of Operations, and depending on your Clan Level, a number of high score items will be available. Buy what you need.

Furthermore, if you want, you can also visit the vendors in the various Settlements. They may have a higher-level item but, in our opinion, the Clan Vendor and Cassie should have everything you need. Now go to the Recalibration Station, and increase the stats to increase the score of each item further. If you are unaware of how the Recalibration Station works, check out the video guide below.

Now, it’s time to do some Invaded Missions and do a run through of the various Underground Entrances across the map. Hopefully, you should be able to reach a Gear Score of 500 soon.
