The Elder Scrolls Online

For those who of you still interested in ZeniMax Online Studios’ subscription-based MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online will be available on Steam for PC users to download. Both the Standard Edition and Imperial Edition will be available for purchase at this point.

There’s been a fair amount of content added to the game as of late with the Craiglorn update and whatnot. However, reception to The Elder Scrolls Online has been somewhat mixed since its release this past April for PC and Mac. While some enjoyed the scale, the overall atmosphere and story – not to mention the bland characters – were criticized.

It also doesn’t help that another subscription-based MMO, namely WildStar, is offering far more content and fun gameplay on a monthly basis.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts on The Elder Scrolls Online? Will you pick it up for Steam today? Let us know in the comments. The Elder Scrolls Online will also be heading to PS4 and Xbox One though no release date has been announced.
