ZeniMax Online Studios is pushing forward with The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. The series has seen a revival of sorts with the recent PS4/Xbox One releases and during a panel at QuakeCon, the developer has announced plans to release quarterly DLC packs.
Some of those packs, releasing next year, will introduce the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild into ESO, an omission which players have been complaining about for a while. The Imperial City DLC will be out on August 31st for PC/Mac and September 15th for PS4/Xbox One. However, public test servers should get their hands on it and the upcoming patch next week.
After the release of Imperial City, there will be the Orsinium pack releasing in the Fall which apparently offers 25 hours of content for players. Pricing hasn’t been discussed for this or future DLC but Imperial City will retail for $20 when it’s out. One can also pick up an ESO Plus subscription and receive the DLCs as part of this. It’s not a bad deal for each pack since there’s no longer any mandatory subscription and the packs offer much more content then some other games.
