The Elder Scrolls Online - Murkmire

The next Elder Scrolls won’t come for a long time (a very, very long time probably). It’s also become something of a joke that you can always replay through Skyrim since that gets ported to basically everything. Well, now you can revisit that in a new context with a set of new expansions that will take you back to the region with Elder Scrolls Online.

There will be four expansions in the year long campaign being called the Dark Heart of Skyrim. The story beats will take place 900 years prior to the events of the mainline game. The first expansion will be Greymoor with a DLC pack of two dungeons leading to the story beats coming beforehand. You can see the announcement trailer below.

The Elder Scrolls Online is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Greymoor will come to PC users May 18th and PS4/Xbox One players June 2nd. The Harrowstone DLC pack that will lead into Greymoor will release sometime in Q1 2020.
